How I Work

Product Before Pixels

Building From 0 → 1

Working With Founders

Making Decisions Under Ambiguity

My role as a designer is not just to create interfaces, but to help teams make better product decisions. I focus on understanding user needs, business goals, operational constraints, and technical realities to find the simplest path forward.

Most of my career has been spent working on products in their early stages.

I enjoy the ambiguity that comes with turning ideas into products, defining MVPs, validating assumptions, and helping teams focus on what matters most.

I enjoy working closely with founders because the conversations often extend beyond design.
The most valuable discussions usually involve priorities, trade-offs, customer needs, business goals, and product strategy.

Startups rarely provide complete information.

I've learned to make progress with imperfect data, balancing user feedback, business objectives, technical constraints, and intuition built through experience.

Human + AI Collaboration

Building Foundations

What I Optimize For

I believe the future of product design is not about replacing people with AI, but designing better collaboration between them.

Good foundations create consistency across products, improve collaboration between teams, and make it easier to scale without losing clarity.
Whether through product principles, interaction patterns, or design systems, my focus is always on creating structures that support long-term growth.

  • Clarity over complexity

  • Outcomes over outputs

  • Systems over screens

  • Collaboration over silos

  • Long-term thinking over short-term fixes
